The upcoming film called “Five Break-ups And A Romance“ is the first film project of Kapuso star Alden Richards and Kapamilya star Julia Montes. This film is directed by Irene Villamor, the same director of films “On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets,” “Ulan,” and “Meet Me in St. Gallen.”
As they were doing this project, Julia and Alden became friends and they were both happy for the unexpected friendship.
In a previous article, Julia accepted this project because it was a lot different from the projects she had done before. She has portrayed mother, wife, and girlfriend roles already but her role in this film offered something new that made her excited about doing it.
Alden, apart from being the lead star, is also a co-producer of Five Breakups and a Romance under his company MYRIAD Corporation.
In an intimate conversation uploaded on YouTube, a part of it had Julia asked Alden this question: “So, itatanong ko sa ‘yo, bakit ako? Bakit sa akin ka pa nagtaya?”
She believes that being a producer is not an easy road to take. She also considered the success of his previous projects which are adding up to the pressure which made her wonder why he trusted her to take the role, the lead role for that matter.
“Why you? I told you, gut feel, and it felt so right, e. Noong hindi ko pa nakikita si Juls, daming fears, daming questions. I only know you sa surface mo,” the Kapuso actor answered.
He expressed that he just knew she fit the role despite the fact that she only knew her on a surface level. He just knew that this was meant to happen and that he had no single regrets about it as per their video.
