KC Concepcion “Unfollowed” Kiko & Frankie But “Will Never Unlove”

Previously circulating online was the unfollowing issue of KC Concepcion. Eagle-eyed netizens spotted that KC unfollowed stepdad Kiko Pangilinan and sister Frankie on Instagram which ignited speculations.

In a previous article, KC spoke about the unfollowing issue and expressed that at this time of her life, what she wants is peace of mind and happiness for her and her family.

She quipped, “I just think na may mga moments na wala na akong control.”

And recently, regarding this issue, KC released a statement. She sent the statement to Boy Abunda which the host relayed to the public through his Today’s Talk segment of his program “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”. 

“I have learned my place in people’s lives, and out of respect, I will not overplay my part,” the actress said. It added, “I am forever grateful to have experienced the love of a father through the experience of having a stepfather since I was 12 years old. I’m sure hindi din po perfect ang journey niya, but I know he’s trying his best.”

She believes that she is a good daughter who loves her family genuinely it’s just that this time around, she is prioritizing her own happiness. With the realization that life is short, it would be a waste to spend it on negative matters.

“Yes, I unfollowed on social media platform—but I will not unfollow the lessons I have learned growing up into the woman I am today. I unfollowed, but I will never unlove,” she expressed.

“Family is family,” she quipped in her statement as she left an assurance that they will overcome whatever they are going through right now. She believes that they have enough love for this and she has faith that one day, they will be brought to a happy place one day based on her statement.
