KC Concepcion talked about the recent issue between her and her stepfather and stepsister
Actress KC Concepcion revealed the reason why he unfollowed his stepfather former Senator Kiko Pangilinan and her half-sister Frankie Pangilinan.
Netizens noticed just recently that KC was no longer following Kiko and Frankie. This created speculation that there was a conflict between them. It is known to many that there have been instances when KC and the family of her mother Megastar Sharon Cuneta went through some controversies.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, KC talked about her decision to unfollow Kiko and Frankie on Instagram. She said that this is brought about by the complicated situation of a blended family.
“Ako I just want peace of mind, I want to be happy, I want my family to be happy…” KC Concepcion said, adding that she does not want drama.
The actress said that she knows that she is not perfect but she is doing her best to be a better person. KC also highlighted the importance of forgiveness between family members. She added that the two sides should always make an effort to make things work.
“Kung meron man akong pagkukulang o pagkakamali kahit saan sa tingin ko mabibilang lang sa isang kamay yun. Lahat ng ginusto ng family ko na gawin ko, ginawa ko. Nagtapos ako ng kolehiyo, nagtrabaho ako, inalagaan ko yung career ko, talaga pong ginagawa ko ang lahat para maging mabuting anak, mabuting ate… I just think na may mga moments na wala na akong control,” the actress explained.
Talking about her relationship with her mom Sharon, KC said that she hopes someday her mother will see how much she loves her. The Asian Persuasion actress also said that if she was able to take care of her grandmother Mamita, then, she would be able to take care of her mother as well.
KC Concepcion also stressed that even though she is not living with her mother right now, she definitely loves her.
