Awra Briguela Files Counter-Affidavit vs. Makati Brawl Complainant

Awra Briguela is not giving up the legal battle

Kapamilya star Awra Briguela filed a counter-affidavit against the complainant Mark Christian Ravana in the Makati brawl.

Awra was faced with a big controversy when she was spotted fighting against a group of men at Poblacion, Makati City. She was defended by her friends and fellow celebrities while the other party also claimed that the Kapamilya star was the one who started the commotion.

Weeks ago, reports surfaced that Awra is facing three more complaints –  light threats, grave coercion, and violation of the Safe Spaces Act, or the “Bawal Bastos” law.

Based on a recent report published by Philstar Life, Awra Briguela filed a counter-affidavit. He filed to Senior Assistant Prosecutor Arvin Amata in Makati City Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Awra was accompanied by her lawyer, Atty. Mikaelo Jaime Reyes. The celebrity filed a complaint against Ravan in line with the violation of section 1 Anti-Wiretapping law, slight physical injury, and a violation of the Safe Spaces Act.

The report also stated that Ravana was also present earlier that day with his legal counsel Atty. Nick Nangin for the supposed preliminary investigation. However, this was postponed because the witness from Awra’s camp wasn’t able to attend.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, who is also the manager of Awra Briguela, clarified that the young celebrity is still under his management.

Rumors surfaced that because of the controversial incident involving Awra, Vice left his responsibility as a manager. The It’s Showtime host stressed that the young celebrity needs guidance. Because of Vice’s stand to remain as Awra’s manager, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz said that he admires Vice for not giving up on Awra.
