Ronquillo began his post with a jarring line that reads, “Sana hindi niyo nalang ako ipinanganak.”
At first look, readers might interpret his message negatively, yet a closer look exposes the deep truth that it embodies about the situations experienced by countless Filipino youths growing up in low-income households.
He knew that the first phrase would confuse some readers, as most graduation blogs express gratitude for the assistance of friends and family. However, Jaynard chose to reveal the less well-known side of the story.

We’re both the same sentiments, even me I also uttered that lines before, the time that I don’t I understand my parents, why they don’t give things such as telling them to buy all the things that I would tell them …and when I graduated college, I realized how they sacrifices for us for our needs since we are 6 siblings in the family.
And I thanked my parents for raising us …and become who we are now.
