Actress, host, and entrepreneur Maine Mendoza tied the knot with Arjo Atayde last July and it was a beautiful event. It was attended by their closest friends and families. The event happened at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City.
Arjo and Maine’s wedding happened exactly one year after they got engaged and exactly 10 years after Maine’s viral ‘Arjo Cutie’ tweet.
And after over two weeks of rest following their wedding, the actress is now back in E.A.T. A wave of excitement and anticipation filled the show because of her return and she was given a warm welcome by the viewers and her co-hosts.
During the August 17 episode, she has a big smile on her face as she gets to be welcomed warmly and happily. She even received blessings from her esteemed wedding godfathers Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon as she gave them an honoring gesture by doing the “pagmamano”.

Meanwhile, the newlyweds became viral before because of their stunning and expensive wedding gifts for each other. Maine received an Hermès Mini Kelly handbag and several reports said that the bag retail ranges from Php 6.5 to Php 7.4 million.
The actress, on the other hand, gave her husband a Toyota Land Cruiser, the “rarest SUV of them all”. After their wedding, they headed to Europe to attend some events. Their Europe trip was criticized online but they clarified that it was funded from their personal money.
It created a loud buzz because Arjo is a politician and their trip included a government-related work. But as mentioned, their trip was personally funded by their own pockets.
