Veteran screen actor Robert Arevalo died on Thursday morning and here’s a look back at his life and some of his notable works.

In a previous article, the daughter of veteran actor Robert Arevalo announced that he died peacefully on Thursday morning, August 10, at the age of 85. In the same post, the cause of Arevealo’s death has also been disclosed and it is accordingly due to complications from Parkinsonism.

This term refers to brain conditions that involved slowed movements, rigidity, tremors, and other symptoms.

Her father’s wake will be held at Arlington Chapels, Araneta Avenue from Saturday, August 12 to Sunday, August 13. He was a veteran screen actor and his career spanned 60 years. Arevalo had a long and fruitful career in both film and television.

He was born on May 6, 1938, in Dumaguete. He went to San Beda College and also attended Ateneo de Manila University where he finished a Business Administration course.

His wife Barbara Perez was also an actress and together, they were blessed to have three children – two daughters and a son. They have quite a love story. They got married n Baguio City on August 11, 1962, at the St. Joseph Church the Worker Parish Church. This is the same church where Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales also tied the knot.

His career in the entertainment industry started with Premiere Productions. His big-screen debut was in “Huwag Mo Akong Limutin” (1960) which was highly controversial back then.
