Wilbert Tolentino made an important announcement
Businessman Wilbert Tolentino announced that he is resigning as the talent manager of Kapuso actress Herlene Budol.
When Herlene formally started her career in the entertainment industry, It was Wilbert who handled her. Aside from showbiz, they also ventured into the pageant world. Together, they also faced controversies thrown at them just like the rumors that they had a conflict.
However, their manager-talent relationship is set to end. In his post on July 24 on his Facebook page, Wilbert announced that he is resigning as manager of Herlene effective July 31, 2023.
The businessman pointed out that as a talent manager, he became Herlene’s second parent and he really considered her as his own child. However, he is choosing a more important thing in his life.
“Mahirap man gawin, halos matagal ko din pinagisipan. Subalit kailangan ko ng pagtuunan ng pansin ang aking kalusugan, at bigyan oras ang aking anak dahil una sa lahat tumatanda na si KaFreshness, at higit akong kailangan nya lalo’t lumalaki na siya,” Wilbert Tolentino said as his reason.
He also said that as a talent manager, he spent most of his time in this job. Wilbert pointed out that sometimes he would spend more than 24 hours just doing what he needed to do.
The businessman also mentioned the achievement that he and Herlene Budol was able to achieve in pageant and showbiz. Wilbert also shared that he has already secured several projects for Herlene until the end of the year.
He also wished that Herlene will continue to adhere to the core values he thought her which are “COMMITMENT, PROFESSIONALISM and GRATITUDE.”
Wilbert Tolentino also thanked the brands they worked with, as well as GMA Network for giving projects to Herlene Budol. He also showed appreciation to everyone who has supported him and the actress-beauty queen for more than a year.
