The mother of Cristine Reyes has this statement about Marco Gumabao’s wedding plans
Actor Marco Gumabao said that he is ready to propose to Cristine Reyes and this received a reaction from the mother of the actress.
Marco ad Cristine had their social media soft launch last April after rumors linking them together surfaced online. The actor simply called the actress his home. Eventually, in interviews, they talked more about their relationship.
In a recent interview for their new TV5 series Muli Nating Hagkan Ang Nakaraan, Marco was asked if he is ready to propose to Cristine, just like what his character did in the teleserye.
The actor has a positive answer to this. Marco Gumabao stressed that he will not waste his time on something that he can’t see to be a long-lasting one. During the interview, Cristine Reyes was accompanied by her mom who is fondly called in showbiz Mommy Klenk, based on the article in Abante.
Cristine’s mother said that he is in favor of the actress’s relationship with Marco. “Basta mahalin niya ang anak ko, okey na sa akin,” Mommy Klenk said. On the other hand, she said that the first stages of a relationship are really sweet but as years go by, this can change and no one is sure about this.
When asked if she can say that Marco is “mabait,” Cristine’s mom said in jest, “Si Lord lang nakakaalam niyan. Hahahahaha!Pero sa nakikita ko ngayon, okey sila. Pero pag nagdaan pa ang mga taon, doon natin malalaman.”
On the other hand, Mommy Klenk said that she can notice Cristine’s happiness and she would always have a light mood. Just like other parents, she said that she also wants her daughter to be happy.
Then, Mommy Klenk was asked if she wants the couple to get married soon. “Hindi! Hindi na! Okey lang ang live in. ’Pag matagal na siguro, ‘pag na-realize nila na para sila sa isa’t isa, sige, magpakasal sila,” the mother of Cristine Reyes said, adding that annulment is a tedious process if ever the marriage will not work out.
