Marco Gumabao was asked about his relationship with Cristine Reyes
Actor Marco Gumabao said that he is ready to propose to his girlfriend actress Cristine Reyes just like what his character did in their new series Minsan Pa Nating Hagkan Ang Nakaraan.
In the afternoon series on TV5, Cesar Montano is also one of the main cast members. It is a remake of the 1980s movie with the same title. A press conference was recently held for this new TV series.
Cesar was teased for having good chemistry with Cristine despite their age gap, based on the article in Abante. The seasoned award-winning actor shared that he did not expect that their onscreen partnership will have a good turnout.
“Actually hindi ko ini-expect na ganun ang outcome. And even us, kaming mga nasa cast, kahit alam na namin ang istorya, affected pa rin kami,” he said. This is the reason why he is happy after seeing the effect to the viewers of the scenes he did with the actress.
The seasoned did not take the credit as he pointed out that they have good director and script, as well as the lighting on the set contributed to this.
Cesar also said that she felt the “kilig” as well in his scenes with Cristine, especially when people on the set would let out their “kilig” shouts.
Then, the seasoned actor said pointing out Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao, “Eh sa kanilang dalawa rin kasi, kinikilig ako. On and off the screen.”
When Marco was asked if he is ready to propose to Cristine also like what his character did in the series, he immediately answered, “Oo naman!” The actor added that he is not someone who would waste his time in a relationship if he does not see the other person as his end game.
“Ilang taon na akong single, laging tinatanong sa akin ng press, ‘Bakit ka single, bakit ayaw mong mag-girlfriend?’ Eh kasi hindi pa `yon ang time ko. Hinihintay ko pa ang right one,” Marco said.
Cesar quipped that he wants to be the best man in Cristine and Marco’s wedding if ever. The seasoned actor also said that it is also fine with him to be the “ninong” as long as the three of them are together.
