Ogie Diaz Airs Dismay to Herlene Budol for Allegedly Being Arrogant
Showbiz columnist and talent manager Ogie Diaz airs dismay to comedienne-beauty queen Herlene Budol for allegedly being arrogant.
Ogie, the talent manager, is stated to be feeling the expansion of Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol’s head in the “Showbiz Update” vlog. This came after they discussed Budol’s reaction to being crowned Miss Tourism Philippines in the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 contest.
“Nag-e-expect siya hindi ng Tourism kundi siya ‘yung grand winner. ‘Yun ang basa ko sa mukha. Nakalimutan ‘ata i-acknowledge ni Herlene Budol ‘yung kanyang mga kakulangan… Tulad niyan sa Q&A, nagpapatawa pa, wala rin naman sa timing. ‘Yung mga hurado, puwedeng ngumiti ‘yan pero deep inside naiirita sila,” said Ogie.
“Ako napapansin ko lang naman na parang ginawaran ka na ng Miss Tourism tapos parang nakabusangot ka pa ‘di mo pa maispeling ‘yung mukha mo kung ngingiti ka ba or enough na ba ‘yun, ‘Ito lang ba deserve ko?’ Dapat nga matuwa siya dahil meron pa siyang nakuha, ‘di ba?” he added.
Ogie observed Herlene’s unpleasant expression after being crowned Miss Tourism during the Miss Grand Philippines pageant, which appears to be her head getting big or boastful. Others believe that Budol’s response when she won Miss Tourism Philippines was due to exhaustion.
“Ako naman, bilang matagal na sa industriya, parang nasisilip ko siya na parang, ’yung mga ganitong mukha, alam mo, medyo lumalaki ulo nun, lalaki ulo nun or malaki na ulo nun,” he explained.
But Ogie said, “‘Pag pang-beauty queen ka, kasama ‘yan sa sineminar sa inyo, na kahit gutom ka na, nanginginig na ‘yung paa mo sa gutom, at kumakalam na sikmura mo ‘di ba? Talagang [dapat] grace under pressure at nakangiti ka pa rin.”
“Parang nasilip ko talaga, parang nase-sense ko ‘yung paglaki ng ulo ni Herlene Budol. Sorry to say ha… Nakikita ko talaga, feeling niya sikat na siya,” he added in his showbiz vlog.
