Celebrity mom Neri Miranda shared a story about being a fan of the award-winning theater star Lea Salonga.
Neri shared a post about this following the viral video of Lea in which she was dealing with her fans who just barged into her dressing room.
Lea received different reactions to how she told the fans who wanted to take photos with her in her dressing room to wait for her in the allotted area where fans can wait for a photo op.
There were those who said that Lea handled the situation properly while there were those who said that she was mean. Amid this issue, there were several showbiz personalities who showed support for the Broadway diva.
One of the celebrities who rallied behind Lea Salonga was Neri Miranda. In a Facebook post, the wife of Parokya ni Edgar Chito Miranda shared a photo with the famous theater actress.
Neri said that she is a big fan of Lea but there was a time when she and Chito waited patiently beside the stage after the show just to have a photo with the singer-actress. The celebrity mom said that they did not go to Lea’s dressing room.
“Naghintay kami sa gilid ng stage, waiting for her na magpalit ng casual attire kase naka gown sya nun. Kahit kakilala ni Chito si Ms Lea, never syang nag insist na pumasok kami sa dressing room nya. Or kinulit si Sir Gerard Salonga na papasukin kami sa dressing room ng kapatid nya,” she shared.
She added that other fans also waited for Lea. The singer-actress accommodated everyone who wanted to take a photo with her.
