Jennylyn Mercado chose not to speak about past issue with Patrick Garcia
The team of Kapuso Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado has broken their silence on the recent statement by actor Patrick Garcia.
Patrick clarified the past issue that he had with Jennylyn on the YouTube channel of showbiz insider Ogie Diaz. He pointed out that there was no abadonement that happened, and that it was Jennylyn’s choice to stay away from him.
The actor was pushed to speak because of the negative comments being thrown at his daughter, Michelle, who is now trying to enter the K-pop industry trough the South Korean entertainment company SM.
Despite the negative comments thrown at Patrick, his wife Nikka rallied behind him. Nikka wrote a post dedicated to her husband, highlighting that he is a good man.
Following the controversial interview, Jennylyn Mercado’s husband, Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo responded with a simple and short post on his Facebook page.
Dennis stressed that condemns bashing but he is thankful that Patrick was able to remember Jazz, after his daughter Michelle was bashed. The Kapuso actor also encouraged the online community to spread love and not hate.
Almost right after Dennis shared his post, Jennylyn’s team released a statement. Aguila Entertainment, the actress’s management team stresse that she will not comment or grant any interviews regarding the things that Patrick stated in his recent interview.
The management company also stressed that everyone has the right to speak about their story on whatever platform they chose. On the other hand, Jennylyn opted not to speak anymore because she wants respect for the privacy and peace of mind of both families.
“Jennylyn asks the public to stop the hate and refrain from bashing Patrick’s family, especially his daughter, MIchelle,” Aguila Entertainment stated.
Then, the company stated Jennylyn and her son, Jazz are living a good and happy life with her husband Dennis Trillo, daughter Dylan, and her stepson Calix.
