15-Year-Old Boy in Cavite Proves Age is No Barrier to Education as He Graduates from Kindergarten

A 15-year-old boy from Cavite earns praises from the online community after he graduates from kindergarten.

“Hindi hadlang ang edad para makapag-aral” This is what Rico Pantoja from Cavite proved when he graduated from kindergarten at the age of 15.

Pantoja achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing kindergarten at Amaya Elementary School in Tanza, Cavite, on July 6. He shared his joy upon graduating from kindergarten, expressing his happiness at experiencing the feeling of going to school for the first time.

Pantoja is reportedly an orphan and was adopted by a financially challenged family who couldn’t afford to send him to school.

Driven by his desire to learn, Pantoja signed up as a campaign volunteer during the previous elections to earn an allowance. After the elections, he was adopted by the family of a councilor who offered to support his education.

Due to Pantoja’s diligence in his studies, he did not only completed kindergarten but also received the “Word Weaver Award.”

The school advised Pantoja to take the qualifying exam for the Alternative Learning System (ALS), which he is currently preparing for to bring him closer to his dream of becoming a police officer.
