This is what Joshua Garcia said regarding the end of network wars in television.

JOSHUA GARCIA – Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia was asked about the end of network wars and this is what he said about it.

When Showtime moved to GMA’s GTV after their block time agreement with TV5 expired, the start of a new and historical event happened. The once greatest rivals in Philippine television became partners as ABS-CBNk, after losing to get a new network franchise, officially became a content provider.

In a previous article, GMA-7 Chairman and President Felipe L. Gozon expressed that this partnership marked the end of television wars.

Atty. Gozon even said, “Dahil malawak ang analog at digital reach, at malinaw ang signal at reception ng GTV, malamang daw ay hindi lamang ma-maintain ang mataas na rating ng It’s Showtime kundi baka tumaas pa.”

Many people are also delighted to witness such a historic collaboration and partnership.

And with the talks about television wars being finally over, Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia was asked about this. As much as we all know, Joshua is doing “Unbreak My Heart”, a series that is the first collaboration of GMA Network and ABS-CBN Corporation with an ensemble cast led by some of the country’s biggest stars.

And as for Joshua, this is good as this will be a big help for the entertainment industry. It will also create a lot of opportunities for many people.

“Nakakatuwa kasi itong opportunity na ito, itong nangyari na ito, itong collaboration, hindi lang ito makakatulong para sa amin kundi para sa iba pa nating kapatid sa industriya,” he said.

Just like everyone in the entertainment industry, what matters most is giving the viewers the entertainment they deserve.

In a report from PEP, he thanked the people who support his series with Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, and Gabbi Garcia.

Meanwhile, he will be having a reunion project with Janella Salvador. He has confirmed this but he did not disclose any details about what their reunion project will be.
