Rowena Guanzon on Larry Gadon P280k Salary: “Mag donate ka sa kawanggawa”

Rowena Guanzon Urges Larry Gadon to Donate Some of His P280k Salary

P3WD Partylist nominee Rowena Guanzon urges Larry Gadon to donate some of his P280k salary as an anti-poverty czar.

The former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner urged the Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation to make a donation due to a large amount of his salary to be received on Twitter. Guanzon persuaded Gadon to donate some of his salary to a charitable organization.

“Larry Gadon, tama na yan. Magtrabaho ka na PA. Ang laki ng sueldo mo. Mag donate ka sa kawanggawa,” Guanzon said in a post on Twitter.

Gadon would be paid P280,000 each month, according to reports. Despite the Supreme Court’s disbarment, Malacaang has stated that it will not remove Gadon’s appointment.

The Supreme Court recently unanimously disbarred Gadon following a viral video in which he is seen hurling expletives at a journalist. According to the Supreme Court, the video shows Gadon using “misogynistic, s3xist, abusive, and repetitive intemperate language” on journalist Raissa Robles.

The Supreme Court voted 15-0 to strip Gadon of his legal authority. Larry Gadon bravely addressed the media after the Supreme Court barred him from practicing law.

Gadon responded to the Supreme Court’s decision by writing on Facebook that he will file a motion for reconsideration, citing the judgment as “too harsh for the alleged cause.” Gadon also stated that his disbarment will not affect his new employment under the Marcos administration.
