A low pressure area was spotted at 500 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar and is embedded along the ITCZ.

“Sa data na binigay ng PAGASA, mababa sa ngayon ang tsansa ng LPA na maging isang bagyo. Pero posible raw na magtagal ito ng dalawa hanggang tatlong araw,” weather presenter Anjo Pertierra said.

The ITCZ will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mimaropa, the Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country,

“Hindi pa po consistent ang mga models. Ang iba sinasabi po magdi-dissipate, ang iba po paangat po siya, magta-travel po siya palabas ng PAR, so hindi pa po masasagot if magdi-dissipate siya,” weather bureau specialist Chenel Dominguez said.

The weather agency has warned the public for flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to weather bureau.
