Nursery Pupil Goes Viral for Yawning After Receiving Multiple Awards

Nursery Pupil Yawns After Receiving Multiple Awards During Recognition Day

A photo of a Nursery pupil yawning while adorned with numerous medals and ribbons on her dress, which she received during their school’s Recognition Day, has amused netizens.

The father of the child, Reynaldo Aniban Jr., found it amusing to caption the photo with “Basic,” suggesting that the accolades were like a walk in the park for his daughter, as seen in his Facebook post.

However, according to the child’s mother, Arrianne Mae Aniban, their daughter, Audrey, woke up early that day and was still sleepy. They happened to capture the moment when she yawned.

Reynaldo and Arrianne, proud parents, celebrated their daughter’s achievements. Audrey received awards such as Outstanding Pupil, Courteous Kid Award, Little Observer Award, Best in CLE (Christian Living Education), Collaborative Kid Award, Best in Art, Best in Writing, and the Sunshine Award. Arrianne shared this news on her Facebook post, this time with Audrey looking at the camera with a smile.

Arrianne also expressed her gratitude to Audrey’s teachers, T. Joyce and T. Tina, from Mercedarian School in Lagro, Quezon City.

“Of course, we would also like to thank her teachers, T. Joyce Salin and T. Tina for their guidance and patience. We are so proud of you. Congratulations, baby girl!”  she said.

Arrianne also shared their parenting style when it comes to Audrey.

“Actually hindi naman talaga siya fino-force na mag-aral at magka-awards pero marunong siyang makinig at masipag. Mahilig din talaga siyang mag-explore. Mahilig siya sa art, singing and drawing. Balanse din ‘yan kasi may laro, may zumba, may swimming at pasyal pa ‘yan kahit nag-aaral. Haha!,” she added.
