Former EB hosts Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, and Jose Manalo talk about loyalty.
PAOLO BALLESTEROS – JoWaPao allegedly turned down an offer from TAPE and recently, the trio talked about loyalty.
Former Eat Bulaga hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros were allegedly offered by TAPE to stay based on a previous article. Allegedly, they were offered to stay to replace the trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
But if there was really an offer, it seemed like they have really turned it down because when TVJ resigned, they also resigned along with all the other hosts of the show.
TVJ’s new program on TV5 is now confirmed and with them are all the hosts of EB. They ate family and they are loyal to TVJ. It doesn’t matter what network as long as they are with the triumvirate.
And now as their TV5 show has been confirmed, JoWaPao talked about loyalty. Jose confirmed that there was really an offer from TAPE. But for him, loyalty is something that cannot be bought with money. No amount could ever name the value of their loyalty.
“Meron ngang nagsasabi, mabubuhay ka ba dun sa prinsipyo mo? Oo, e… Yon ang gusto namin. “Meron ngang nagsasabi, mabubuhay ka ba dun sa prinsipyo mo? Oo, e… Yon ang gusto namin,” he expressed and added that money will used and exhausted but not their principle.
Wally echoed the same thoughts. According to him, they may not be rich but they have decided and that is to be with TVJ. It is his decision to stay beside them and his decision to be loyal to them.
Ballesteros agreed with the two of them based on a report from PEP. As for him, his loyalty stems from how the show accepted him despite not knowing what he is able to do. The show believed in him and he’s been in the show for 22 years.
He said, “Pero ngayon, almost 22 years na ako sa Eat Bulaga. So, walang kuwestiyon-kuwestiyon yon. Kumbaga, ginawa naming pagsunod sa kanila, parang it’s basic human instinct. Kung saan ang TVJ, doon kami.”
