Jose Manalo and the rest of Dabarkads joined TVJ
Eat Bulaga hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros allegedly were offered to replace Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon but they turned it down.
JoWaPao has been part of the longest-running noontime show for many years now. Their trio is also well-loved by many. They did several memorable skits, especially during the Kalyeserye segments featuring Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards.
It is known to many that JoWaPao can run a show and with their caliber in comedy, it will not be difficult for them to entertain their audience.
Following the official announcement that Tito, Vic, and Joey did on the digital platforms of Eat Bulaga about their decision to leave TAPE Inc., several speculations surfaced. They were not allowed to have a live airing on May 31, 2023.
Fans of the show are wondering what will happen next. Based on the article in Bandera, as was also reported previously, the network transfer of TVJ to TV5 is already a “done deal.”
It was also said that the new show on the Kapatid network will no longer be called Eat Bulaga, instead it would be ‘Dabarkads.’ As of writing, TV5 has not released a statement yet about this.
Previously, GMA has confirmed that TAPE still has an existing contract for the noontime slot but it is not clear yet what show will replace the time slot that was vacated by Eat Bulaga.
Rumor has it that Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros refused to accept the offer to be the TVJ’s replacement as main hosts of the noontime show produced by TAPE.
