Pokwang Honor Loving Dads On Father’s Day
POKWANG – Marietta Tan Subong, known professionally as Pokwang, greeted all exemplary dads on Father’s Day.
Celebrities have been using social media to celebrate Father’s Day by expressing their love for their father and other halves. Dads teach us a lot of things, but the most important lesson is always love.
On Sunday, June 18, Filipino celebs used social media to apply this lesson into practice and to share their simple yet heartfelt greetings for their fathers and father figures. Others may not want to celebrate some fathers who abused or abandoned their families.
On Sunday, Pokwang posted a Father’s Day message on social media. On this particular day, the Kapuso comedienne and TV host greeted all exemplary fathers on her Instagram Story.
“Happy father’s day sa mga karapat-dapat at ulirang ama!” she wrote.
The comedian also quipped “nganga” to dad who are not doing their roles. “Sa mga hindi, edi nganga,” she said.

Pokwang also greeted and lauded all the mothers who serve as the father figures in their households.
“At sa nanay na rin na tumatayong tatay, mabuhay kayo,” Pokie wrote along with some clapping hands and a heart emojis.
In a previous article, talent manager and showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz relayed what Pokie allegedly told him about Lee O’Brian. He said that the comedian disclosed that O’Brian allegedly was seemingly repulsed by Pokie.
“Andami pang revelation ni Pokwang diyan kay Papang ano. Talagang jusko, pati sa pagtabi sa kama, pati sa pakikipagniig, wala, parang diring-diri kay Mareng Pokwang daw. Ano ba yan, oo. At marami pang kini-claim si Mareng Pokwang. Samantalang noon, super tanggol, super depensa si Mamang Pokwang diyan,” Ogie said.
