Male Passenger Shares Booking Mishap Experience

A male passenger has shared his booking mishap on social media reiterating “Akala ko Siargao ang na-book ko, Surigao pala”.

Gerald Veri Manuel, a netizen, couldn’t help but express his surprise and disappointment after realizing that he had mistakenly booked the wrong flight. The latter shared that he had planned a family trip to Siargao, believing that he had booked the correct flight.

The passenger thought he booked the right flight. But when he reviewed the itinerary, that’s when he realized his mistake.

Manuel booked three round-trip tickets for himself, his mother, and his friend because they really wanted to visit Siargao. It was also meant to be an early celebration for his mom’s 60th birthday next year.

At that time, he only thought was to hurry and book the tickets before they ran out of slots. Besides, Siargao and Surigao sound quite similar.

Initially, he felt disappointed in himself but eventually found humor in his mistake, acknowledging that it was entirely his fault for rushing the booking process.

“I was a little disappointed in myself as my initial reaction because I really want to visit Siargao. Then, natawa na lang ako kasi kasalanan ko rin naman talaga kasi nagmadali ako masyado,” Gerald said.

However, despite the booking mishap, Gerald decided not to cancel the flight. Instead, they would proceed with their trip to Surigao.

Here is the full post:

“Sa sobrang excited sa promo at nagmamadali mag-book. Akala ko Siargao ang na-book ko, Surigao pala

Na-realize ko ang kamalian na ito huli na. Nabayaran ko na lahat. Saklap. Tumingin agad ako sa map, buti na lang kahit paano magkalapit ang mga ito and can be accessed via ferry

Any suggestion po na p’wedeng puntahan at gawing activities sa Surigao? Ilalaban na namin ito”
