Sheryn Regis Says She’s Happier After Revealing Her S*xual Orientation
SHERYN REGIS – Crystal Voice of Asia Sheryn Regis said she’s happier now after revealing her sexual orientation.
Sheryn Regis will celebrate her 20th anniversary with a concert, which will be produced by her partner Mel de Guia. She said her revelation about her sexual orientation had a different effect on her.
On a Toni Talks program that aired on YouTube, Sheryn discussed her experience coming out. She admitted that in the past, it was tough for her to conceal who she really is.
It can be remembered that in 2021, Sheryn Regis proudly introduced his girlfriend, Mel de Guia. Because of this, according to Sheryn, she was happier.
“Mas naging masaya ako. Kasi, hindi ko naman kailangang magmukhang lalaki, ito yung preference ko, pero mas happy ako. Naging mas masaya at naging humble ako,” she said.
GMANetwork.com and other entertainment media spoke to the Crystal Voice of Asia during the press conference of her upcoming 20th-anniversary concert ‘All Out’ that will be held at the Music Museum on July 8.

The main producer of Shery Regis’ upcoming concert is her girlfriend Mel, whom he also proudly introduced to the press. “I’m very open, I’m flaunting kasi alam ko na nandiyan ang support ng pamilya ko,” said Sheryn, before calling her partner to accompany her to the presidential table.
This was also an opportunity to ask for Mel’s reaction to Sheryn being proud of her. “Of course, flattered ako and, at the same time, overwhelmed. Siyempre, hindi naman namin ito plinano o pinag-usapan,” Mel said.
“Tinanggap ko si Sheryn bilang ordinaryong tao, si Sheryn lang. Hindi yung sasabihin mong ‘ah noong 20 years ago,’ noong kasikatan niya. Siguro kung yun siya, parang hindi ko rin nakikita ang sarili ko sa ganung sitwasyon…”
“Pero this time, nakita ko kasi yung hindi nakikita ng iba. Hindi siya nagpakita sa akin ng taas, pantay kami. Kaya iba yung feeling noong nakilala ko siya,” she added.
When it comes to producing a concert for the singer, according to Mel, it is a way to show her support to his girlfriend.
