Joey De Leon Posts Photo Of Other ‘Eat Bulaga’ Hosts Resignation Letter
JOEY DE LEON – Veteran host Joey De Leon posted the viral resignation letter of other ‘Eat Bulaga’ hosts.
On Wednesday, the main hosts of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon revealed that they will be parting ways with Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE). Following the shocking news, de Leon cryptically said in an IG post that they are not signing off.
In his post, de Leon said that they are just taking a day off. He wrote, “We’re not signing off … we are just taking a day off!”
The other hosts of “Eat Bulaga” are leaving one after the other after the resignation of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon last May 31. Yesterday, June 1, they submitted their resignation letter to the president of TAPE Inc. which is Romeo Jalosjos.
The resignation letter was signed by hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Maine Mendoza, Ryan Agoncillo, Allan K, and Ryzza Mae Dizon. Aside from the hosts, many from the production have also resigned from the show such as writers, cameramen, and sales employees.
In a post on his Instagram account today June 2, Joey de Leon uploaded a photo of a resignation letter. The said letter belonged to Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, Maine Mendoza, Ryan Agoncillo, Allan K, and Ryzza Mae Dizon. Vic Sotto’s wife Pauleen Luna posted a similar pic on her social media account earlier.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “SIGNS OF THE TIMES.”
