Moira dela Torre Is Credit Grabber? Lolito Go Reveals This

Is it true that Moira dela Torre is taking writing credits for certain songs?

Lyricist/composer Lolito Go made revelations about singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre and the songs she is supposed to take credit for as her compositions.

Lolito shared in his lengthy Facebook post on May 28 that he and Moira became friends when they worked together for the Himig Handog 2017. Through that, Lolito was also able to meet Jason Hernandez.

In his post on Sunday, the lyricist/composer shared the negative things that Moira did when it comes to her relationship/breakup with Jason.

Aside from those, Lolito Go also claimed that Moira dela Torre took the writing credit for the song they made for Leni Robredo’s campaign for the 2022 elections.

“Mind you, I was not paid a single penny for the songs I wrote. There was an instance pa nga na I was not even included in the credits sa Spotify. Kung hindi ko pa pinuna, hindi nya pa ire-rectify,” Lolito said.

Then, Lolito said that indeed looks and voice can be deceiving. “This soft-spoken lady with a voice of an angel, who always seems to have a sunny disposition, and has a penchant for quoting the Bible, has a dark side unknown to many. (A wolf in sheep’s clothing, ika nga.),” he said.

Then, he shared a fun fact about the songs that Moira recorded. “Did you know that 95% of Moira’s hits were composed by Jason? Paubaya, Ikaw at Ako, Pabilin, EDSA, Patawad, Kumpas, Babalik Sayo, Saglit, and the list goes on,” Lolito said and asked if who is now the “manggagamit.”

The lyricist/composer also said that Jason is willing to be the bad guy in the eyes of people just to save Moira’s image but the latter keeps on releasing “defamatory” songs against her former partner. Lolito said that this is the reason why he can’t remain silent.

On the other hand, Lolito Go said that he is not discrediting the fact that Moira dela Torre started as “mabuting tao.” “She’s just probably overwhelmed with success and the medications–a fatal combination,” he said.
