Drunk Man Suffers Injuries After His Motorcycle Accidentally Hit Taxi in QC
A man suffered injuries to his feet after his motorcycle collided with a taxi in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City on Sunday night at around 10 p.m. According to the taxi driver, he was caught off guard when the motorcycle hit his vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle may have swerved to avoid a manhole cover, causing him to hit the taxi.
Fortunately, other motorists were quick to assist the injured man. A rider who spoke to the victim revealed that he had been drinking prior to the incident.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) responded promptly to the scene and provided initial treatment to the victim.
Although the victim only sustained minor injuries, he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The taxi driver did not file a complaint since his vehicle did not suffer significant damage in the collision.
The MMDA reminds motorists to remain cautious when driving, especially at night when traffic is lighter, to avoid accidents. Additionally, the agency advises against driving under the influence of alcohol, which can impair one’s judgment and lead to accidents.
To prevent road accidents, it is essential to educate drivers on safe driving practices, including obeying traffic rules and regulations, driving at safe speeds, avoiding distractions while driving, and never driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
It is crucial for drivers to always prioritize safety and responsibility on the road.
