Upon seeing the sign, the customer found it amusing because he himself had made a similar joke before, being a lover of chili garlic.

“I was looking for somwhere to eat lunch eh ’di ako makadecide so nagikot muna ako sa Dapitan. Then I saw sa poste ng place yung sign. It was so funny nung nakita ko kasi I would do the same (joke) as a mahilig sa chili garlic,” Muy said.

The incident has sparked a lot of reactions from netizens, with many finding it humorous and making jokes about their own love for chili garlic. However, others have expressed concern over the rising incidence of theft and crime in the city.

It highlights the need for increased security measures in businesses, especially in areas where theft and other crimes are common. Business owners must also take steps to protect their inventory and ensure that their stores are safe for both their employees and customers.
