PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (April 28, 2023)
LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that easterlies will be felt in various parts of the country.
On Friday (April 28, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that easterlies will be affecting the country. The Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over entire Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduqueas well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.
Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja said that Filipino may expected the highest air temperatures at 34-35°C in several areas at midday.
The easterlies of warm wind blowing from the Pacific Ocean can be felt over Dagupan City, Cabanatuan City, Metro Manila, Puerto Princesa, San Jose in Occidental Mindoro, Masbate City, and Legazpi City.

“Sa tanghali, asahan ‘yung pinakamatataas po na temperatura natin ay nasa around 34-35°C sa ilang lugar, ‘yung ating tinatawag na air temperature. But yung heat index na tinatawag— o yung nararamdaman init ng ating katawan— ay posible pa ring umabot sa higit 40°C,” Estareja said.
The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the whole country, according to the weather bureau.
