Amy Perez was asked about her past show on TV5
It’s Showtime host Amy Perez revealed that the Barangay Hall on-air program Face to Face was offered to her.
In the show, guests aired their grievances against other people. Amy did a great job as the host of the show. This year, after years of being inactive, the show will return but this time, it will be hosted by Queen Mother Karla Estrada.
Based on the article in PEP, Amy revealed that the show was offered to her again. Rumors surfaced that she does not want to do the show anymore. However, the Kapamilya host clarified that it is not true.
“Hindi naman sa ayaw. Nakakahiya lang sa ABS-CBN kasi if aalis ako, kasi never naman ako nawalan ng show kahit nagkaroon ng pandemic at nawalan kami ng franchise,” Amy Perez.
She also said that her home network has always been there for her and although she does not have an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN, she respects and values the fact that she always has a show.
“Parang happy and contented na ako kung nasaan ako now, so parang I don’t want to shake pa the boat. Nakakahiya,” Amy added. She also said that since she already did Face to Face in the past, then, it is time for her to do other kinds of projects.
“Saka wala na rin si Hans. Baka hindi ko na makaya without him,” the Kapamilya host added.
When it was announced that Karla Estrada will be the new host of the show, it was said that people compared her to Amy Perez. The latter said that she sympathizes with the Queen Mother amid the negative reactions.
Amy also shared that she appreciated that Karla talked to her regarding the show’s come back. “Sobrang na-appreciate ko si Karla kasi bukod sa tinawagan niya ako [sa cell phone], pinuntahan pa niya ako sa house,” the It’s Showtime.
