Pryde Henry Teves Expects to be Tagged in Roel Degamo Slay
PRYDE HENRY TEVES – The former governor of Negros Oriental expressed that he is willing to present his emails, phone logs, and bank accounts to prove his innocence.
The investigations over the death of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo are not over. The Department of Justice (DOJ) previously expressed that they are looking into the possibility that two (2) to three (3) masterminds are behind the killing of the Governor.
Degamo was shot last March 4 at his compound in Pamplona. Men wearing pixelated unform stormed in the gate of the compound and shot the Governor and some people present during the attack.
Gov. Roel Degamo, his ally, and several civilians died due to the attack. One of the suspects accused Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnie Teves as the alleged mastermind behind the death of the Governor. He is the older brother of former Negros Oriental Gov. Pryde Henry Teves who was unseated by Degamo.
The wife of the Governor, Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo, believes that Pryde Henry Teves may also be one of the masterminds behind the killing of her husband. Amid accusations, based on a report on GMA News, the former Governor of Negros Oriental expressed that he is ready to present his phone logs, emails, and bank accounts to prove his innocence.
Pryde Henry expressed that he will not hide and he will not run away. He added that he is giving his waiver to all his communications as he also waives his right to the bank secrecy law.
“I am giving my waiver to all my communications – emails, phone logs, everything. Even my banks, I will waive my bank secrecy law so that they can check what is my capability what my meager possessions are,” the former Governor of Negros Oriental said.
According to Teves, he is not surprised to be implicated in the case since he is the direct political opponent of Degamo. His lawyer also warned him to expect it.
