PAGASA Says Easterlies & Shear Line to Affect PH Weather Condition

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the shear line and easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

On Tuesday (March 28, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The shear line and easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country. The shearline will bring cloudy weather condition and scattered rain over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands; and Occidental Mindoro.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.

The weather agency warned the public to be more cautious due to hot weather condition throughout the entire country.

“Kapansin-pansin po na tumataas ang ating temperatura kaya’t pinapag-ingat po natin ang ‘yung mga kababayan natin na lalabas ng katanghalian,” weather specialist Samuel Duran said.

Duran instructed the public to avoid going outside especially during noontime.“Iwasan po ang direktang sikat ng araw sa atin, dahil possible po tayong makaranas ng heat exhaustion o heat cramps,” he added.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
