Its Showtime to replace Tropang LOL? Ogie Diaz reveals something.
OGIE DIAZ – In a new video, Ogie Diaz revealed something noontime shows It’s Showtime and Tropang LOL from a source.
Tropang LOL (Lunch Out Loud) and It’s Showtime air back-to-back on the TV5 channel. To recall, despite the lack of a franchise, ABS-CBN’s showtime survived with the challenge of the pandemic on the side.
The Kapamilya noontime show remained strong airing online until A2Z and TV5 channels agreed to a block time deal.
But just recently, in a new video of Ogie Diaz, he revealed what his source revealed to him regarding the changes in these noontime shows.
Accordingly, Tropang LOL will leave the noontime timeslot of TV5 and Showtime will be the one replacing them in this slot. There is no confirmation of this yet but Diaz furthered that LOL has now until March 29 to shoot which means that their show will air until April 29.
Moreover, the hit Face To Face program will be back on television and this time, it will be hosted by Karla Estrada.
This scoop is saddening for Diaz as this means that the crew and staff will lose their jobs. He wishes that the show will only change the time slot instead of ending it.
He said, “Sana totoo rin yung narinig namin na kung mawawala sa 11 to 12 timeslot ang LOL or magtatapos na ito sa April 29, sana naman malipat lang sa ibang timeslot.”

Meanwhile, Showtime host Vice Ganda has mentioned before that their show will have a reformat which ignited speculations as their rival Eat Bulaga is also going through some internal issues involving allegedly a reformat.
