PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country. It would bring hot and humid weather condition in Luzon and overcast skies with chances of thunderstorms in Visayas and Mindanao.
The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Northern and Central Luzon as well as the remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate.
Castañeda also reported that the northeast monsoon may end this week, which will mark the start of hot season.
