Doctor’s Dad Punches Windshield of Taxi Waiting for Passengers at Hospital
A doctor’s dad punched the windshield of a taxi waiting for passengers in front of a hospital in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
Parking space altercations are a common issue in public spaces, especially in densely populated areas. These conflicts arise when two or more people attempt to park their vehicles in the same spot or when someone is blocking another person’s vehicle.
Such confrontations can quickly escalate into physical fights, property damage, and even legal issues.
The windshield of a taxi was smashed after being punched by a doctor’s father inside the compound of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod city at around 6:30 pm on Wednesday (March 15, 2023).
The taxi driver immediately reported the incident to Bacolod Police Station 2. The taxi was waiting for a passenger from the hospital when a Toyota Innova being driven by the doctor’s father arrived.
The lady doctor repeatedly knocked on the vehicle’s door because she was unable to open it due to the taxi blocking the way. Suddenly, her father gets out of the vehicle and hit the taxi’s windshield.
According to the taxi driver, the doctor’s father accused him of hitting the doctor, but he denied the allegation and a security guard at the hospital witnessed the incident.
They were advised to wait for the police to arrive and settle the problem, but the doctor’s father immediately left in their vehicle. The taxi driver is left with additional expenses for the damaged windshield despite the fact that the vehicle is only rented.
Although Bacolod Police Station 2 has identified the female doctor, they have not yet been able to contact them to discuss the issue.
