Jessy Mendiola Gets Back To Fitness 2 Months After Childbirth
JESSY MENDIOLA – Celebrity mom Jessy Mendiola has begun working out again two months after childbirth.
Luis and Jessy unveiled baby Rosie’s face a month after she was born. In a previous article, the actress shared a video of Rosie’s first out-of-town trip.
Jessy Mendiola started working out again two months after giving birth to baby Peanut, with the intention of “building a better” physique rather than getting her pre-pregnancy form back.
On March 9, Jessy posted a video to her Instagram Stories discussing her fitness experience while lying down in activewear. “Back at it,” she said.
“It’s so important to take it easy, especially if you’ve just given birth via CS (cesarean section). Take time to rehab your pelvis and core before going back to your pre-pregnancy workouts.”
“I do not want to go back to my pre-pregnancy body (or weight). I want to build a better one,” she continued. “It’s all about acceptance and challenging yourself to move forward.”
Jessy Mendiola acknowledged that she sometimes struggles to accept the physical changes her body has undergone, but she tries to keep in mind that “a life formed inside of [her]” and that her body “went through so much.”
“My body went through so much (nine months of pregnancy and delivery via CS) so now, I’m giving it the [tender loving care] it truly deserves,” Jessy stated.
“Good job, body! I love you, thank you for taking care of my little Peanut,” the actress expressed appreciation to herself. “The reason why I want to stay active is because I want to be able to carry and run with my little one until I grow old.”
