Famous couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano are expecting. Finally, months after their marriage, a baby is on the way and they first shared it through a heartwarming video based on a previous article. They were not really expecting it because their initial plan is to get married first in church but this plan would have to be canceled because of a beautiful reason.
In a vlog they uploaded just recently, they shared their journey from the first day they found out about their “peanut”. Accordingly, Jessy noticed some changes in her body one day and from that observation, she got a hunch.
Her hunch was right and both of them are emotional seeing the two red lines that indicate positive on their pregnancy tests.
But before all of these happened, they once lost hope and eventually stopped expecting. For months, they tried to conceive and they always fail. She would always get frustrated when they were expecting and she gets her period. It has always been like this until they got tired. During vacations, they always expect that a baby will form but it’s always a failure.
“So, dumating sa point na hindi na rin kami masyadong pressured. Kumbaga, nag-usap kami na ‘Let’s have fun na lang, let’s enjoy. And antayin natin kung kailan ibibigay sa atin,’” she went on.
“Kumbaga, nandoon ‘yung effort pero hindi namin hinayaan na ma-stress kami kung ibigay agad ni Lord or hindi,” Luis added.
And when they stopped expecting and let things be and let God do his miracle, a heavy weight was taken off their shoulders. Luis said, “It took a very heavy weight on our shoulders. Kaya siguro mas naging conducive pagdating sa physical, mental and our bodies being ready.”
