Teves Claimed Dog Knew the Suspects who Killed Negros Oriental Gov Degamo
Negros Oriental 3rd district Rep Arnie Teves claimed that the dog knew the suspects who killed Governor Roel Degamo.
Teves Jr. replied to allegations that he was the mastermind behind the assassination of Governor Roel Degamo. Teves denied any involvement in what occurred to Degamo in a social media post, despite the fact that they are political enemies.
He believes he has nothing to gain if Degamo loses his post. Teves hypothesized that Degamo’s assassins were “known” to the individuals in the area where he was killed. He referenced the strange behavior of at least one stray dog seen in a viral video of Degamo’s assassination to back up his claim.
On Saturday morning, March 4, Degamo was leading a Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) distribution in Pamplona, Negros Oriental, when unidentified assailants showered him with gunshots. During the attack, five more persons were slain.
Kumbaga parang kumakaway-kaway pa eh yung aso,” the veteran congressman explained.
The congressman observed one or two dogs wagging their tails. It didn’t even bark He further alleged that the assassination was achieved despite the “several bodyguards” of the governor. He believes that there are some groups out to tarnish him by blaming him for what happened to Teves.
He also stated in his video that he is not returning to the Philippines because he is currently abroad for treatment rather than to hide. The Degamo family previously stated that they had a strong suspicion as to who provided the order to assassinate their patriarch.
