Is it true that Willie Revillame will replace TVJ in Eat Bulaga?
Rumor has it that Wowowin host Willie Revillame is the choice of TAPE Inc. co-founder Romeo Jalosjos to replace Eat Bulaga hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
Amid the rumored rebranding of the longest-running noontime show, Kuya Wil’s name is being dragged. Reportedly, the children of Jalosjos are managing TAPE now, the owner of the noontime show, after Tony Tuviera who co-founded the production company resigned.
Jalosjos and Tuviera are both owners of TAPE but reportedly, the former owns a bigger share while the latter has been handling the noontime show for many years now.
With this, it was said that changes will be made to the show. Based on the article PEP, rumors surfaced that Romeo Jalosjos is offering Kuya Wil to be the host of the Kapuso noontime show.
The entertainment news outlet tried to get the reaction of Willie Revillame to these rumors but he refused to answer the messages sent to him. The Wowowin host is being dragged into the issue because allegedly Jalosjos wanted him to be the host of Eat Bulaga.
On the other hand, some people said that it is impossible for Kuya Wil to accept this offer because his show Wowowin still has a contract with ALLTV. However, it has been noticeable that the veteran host has not appeared on his show’s live telecast or live streaming since ALLTV announced that the shows will take a halt while the problem in signal is being addressed.
Amid the Eat Bulaga issue, Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon shared meaningful posts on Instagram.
Meanwhile, in a previous episode of Wowowin, Willie Revillame revealed that the show’s studio is being renovated and this is to prove that his show will continue airing.
