Jake Cuenca is happy to be part of ‘The Iron Heart’
Actor Jake Cuenca shared his thoughts on working with fellow Kapamilya star Richard Gutierrez in the primetime series The Iron Heart.
Jake has done various roles in different Kapamilya primetime series. He is currently part of the action-drama series which also features Richard, Sue Ramirez, Sofia Andres, Meryll Soriano, Maricel Laxa, Christian Vasquez, Albert Martinez, and Enzo Pineda.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Jake said that among the action projects he has done, working with Richards is the easiest. “Of all the action projects I’ve done in the past, Richard is the easiest person to work with, talaga,” he said.
They can do action scenes overnight without hurting each other and this is something that Jake admires about Richard.
“Like you get out of a really heavy fight scene, like kunwari mag-fight scene kami ng magdamagan…scratchless, hindi nasasaktan talaga, and I love Chard for that. Si Chard talaga is the epitome of an action star,” Jake Cuenca said about this co-actor.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Jake said that he is not afraid to become “laos” in the entertainment industry. His passion for acting is what drives him to continue on this journey.
He said that he considers himself as someone who can do projects in tri-media. Jake has done TV show and movies, and he is exploring now the world of theater. The actor said that what gives him fear is if the time will come that he could no longer do acting stints.
“Me, no, coz I have theater. For me, natatakot lang naman akong mawala lahat ito kasi baka di na ako makaarte,” he explained.
