Fishermen in Palawan Catches Giant Blue Marlin that is 270 Kilos
GIANT BLUE MARLIN – A group of fishermen in Palawan caught a blue marlin fish that is bigger than the size of an average human.
When it comes to fishes that people eat, one of those that is a common favorite of many people is the blue marlin. This fish can be found in several areas in the Philippines and can be cooked in many different ways. Some people like their blue marlin grilled while others love to have it as a sizzling viand. Many individuals also like having blue marlin as the main ingredient for a soup viand like the popular Filipino food “tinola” and “sinigang” which are both favorite of many Pinoys.
However, the price of blue marlin may also speak for its very delicious taste and the fact that you won’t have to face a lot of fishbone problems. It is quite pricey and is usually sold in kilos rather than whole. Recently, some fishermen in Palawan caught a giant blue marlin that weigh 270 kilos.
Based on an article on Pep, the said giant blue marlin that weighed 270 kilos was caught by fishermen in Balabac, Palawan. Fisherfolk Pao-Paw admitted that they had a hard time taking the huge fish out from the water into their fishing boat.
The giant fish is bigger than Pao-Paw himself. Citing regional reports, the said fish is worth P81,000. Citing 10.3.1 Brigada News-Palawan report, Pao-Paw reportedly said that they were able to find a buyer of the fish.
Based on the article, the group of fishermen were able to catch seven (7) blue marlins in their three (3) days of fishing in the sea. Their catch reached 600 kilos and they were able to find buyers for the fishes.
