SB19’s Stell will no longer perform at the concert of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez and here’s what the latter said about this.
Stell, a member of Pinoy supergroup SB19, is no longer performing in the upcoming concert of Regine Velasquez. Asia’s Songbird’s upcoming concert “RESET” is happening at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City.
This is a 3-day concert – February 14, 15, and 22 – and it looks like the male singer is also not available on the other dates.
Based on reports, their schedules did not meet and the issue arose from “miscommunication by our production manager”. Stell’s camp was also saddened by this unexpected change and they sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
Stell also sent flowers to Velasquez to apologize.
The veteran female singer was a little disappointed but not at the artist. She was disappointed in the situation. She was excited over their supposed duet. If it was not canceled, they would be singing “Sometime, Somewhere” together and she was excited about it.
“Kasi kinanta yun ni Stell sa concert ni Mr. C [Ryan Cayabyab]. So, my sister [Ccaai Velasquez-Mitra] and I thought it would be nice for us to sing. It would have been nice, but… so medyo na-disappoint talaga ako kasi… dun sa situation,” she said.
But she understands that these things really happen. Unexpected circumstances really occur and they can’t do anything about it.
Meanwhile, despite her concert’s name “RESET”, Regine has nothing to reset in her life accordingly. The mistakes happened as she was supposed to learn from them and something had happened that broke her not only to cause her but also to make her appreciate the happiness life brings.
“In the long run, we’ll realize that it’s not such a good idea that I don’t want to change because we make mistakes because we were supposed to learn from those mistakes,” the wife of OPM icon Ogie Alcasid said.
