Previously, Ogie Diaz discussed the action-drama series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which was embroiled in another issue after vendors claimed that the taping was causing a distraction and affecting their sales.
The talent manager believed that sales should increase because, in addition to those who could buy from them, they could be advertised and visited by those who wished to watch the filming or see the artists.
Sad to say, the Batang Quiapo team allegedly bans people from passing through, preventing them from reaching the vendor stalls. Coco and ABS-CBN have yet to respond or provide a statement on the issue.
Recently, Rendon Labador, a social media star and motivational speaker, has responded to reports that several vendors in Quiapo, Manila, are experiencing slow sales as a result of the disturbance created by the filming of the television series.
“Kung wala kayong budget para magtayo ng sarili ninyong studio, itigil na ninyo yang kalokohan ninyo na ‘yan. Storbo kayo sa mga naghahanap-buhay diyan sa Quiapo. Itigil na ninyo yan!,” Labador wrote on the comment section.
Rendon commented on the comment section of the report. He also shared a screenshot of the post on his own Facebook account and reacted to it. The post goes viral online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
“Sa totoo lang storbo ka! Itigil mo na yan. Dapat ang title niyan “Storbo Sa Quiapo,” he said.
