Bela witnessed bad behavior while riding the tube in London
Actress-director Bela Padilla received different comments about her reaction to the bad behavior she witnessed in London.
Bela moved to London in 2021 and her decision garnered speculations that she was leaving showbiz. However, the multihyphenate revealed that he will continue doing showbiz projects in the Philippines.
In an interview last year, Bela shared that the shutting down of her home network ABS-CBN pushed her to move to London.
The actress-director would just return to the Philippines if she had a project to do and for some personal reasons like the second wedding of her close friend Angelica Panganiban and her Gregg Homan.
In a recent series of Instagram Stories that she shared, Bela Padilla shared one incident she witnessed as she was riding the tube in London. She shared that she took her boyfriend Norman Bay Ben to the airport and that was her first time riding the tube again after three months.
When she entered, she saw a backpack left by someone, and then, two girls decided to check what was inside the bag. Bela shared that she saw that the two girls took a food container and something she believed was a valuable item.
The actress-director expressed dismay thinking that the owner of the backpack had no food to eat and the amount of effort of preparing that food was wasted. She said that as she was walking home, she felt bad because she couldn’t do anything about what he witnessed.
“And so I realized I’m back in London where no one cares to report these things and no one will intrude when we see bad behaviour,” the actress wrote.
Many netizens sympathized with Bela and they said that this kind of situation happens anywhere in the world. However, some criticized her for doing nothing and some questioned her purpose of sharing this when she did not stand up for what she thinks is right.
