The General Mobile GM 22 Plus was officially announced on January 26, 2022, and released in February 2022. The smartphone is available in three colors: Shining Blue, Shining Black, and Shining White colors. It is powered by a 6000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable).
Body & Display:
The smartphone comes in a 6.78 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. It measures 168.65 x 76.5 x 9.08 mm and weighs 205 grams.
Platform:
GM 22 Plus runs on the Android 11 operating system. It is powered by Mediatek MT6769V/CU Helio G80 (12 nm) Octa-core processor coupled with a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processing unit (GPU). It is packed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 256GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the GM 22 Plus consists of a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth). It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel camera. It features face beautification and FaceID.
Connectivity options on the phone include USB Type-C 2.0, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, and GLONASS. Its sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, and proximity.
