Rabiya Mateo talked about her relationship with Jeric Gonzales
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo said that she is ready to settle down with her boyfriend actor Jeric Gonzales but there are still things to be considered.
In March last year, it was confirmed that Rabiya and Jeric started dating. A few months after that, the actor was entangled in a social media controversy when he was accused of having a relationship with a gay producer.
Then, rumors surfaced that Jeric and Rabiya broke up as they unfollowed each other on Instagram. In August last year, rumors surfaced that the two Kapuso celebrities got back together and just recently, they confirmed that they got back through their social media posts.
In a recent Fast Talk episode, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, Rabiya Mateo answered questions about her relationship with Jeric Gonzales.
When asked if she is ready to take her relationship with Jeric to the next level, Rabiya said, “yes.” However, she said that this will come if Jeric will propose to her.
“Kasi iba din na ngayon. Siguro, during that time, I was just 23. And ngayon, Tito Boy, parang feeling ko na-fulfill ko na yung pangarap ko for my family. Nabilhan ko na ng bahay si Mama, nabigyan ko na sila ng… yung savings, nakapag-ipon na po ako,” she said.
On the other hand, she said that this will not come immediately. “Siguro hindi agad-agad, pero siguro in two years, kasi gusto ko rin maging nanay na. I can see myself,” the Ticktoclock host said.
With the thoughts of settling down, Rabiya Mateo stressed that in this aspect, she is not the only one who must decide about this thing. She said that she and her partner should both decide.
