Pauline Amelinckx Reveals Why She Joined Miss Universe PH For 3rd Time

Pauline Amelinckx On Why She’s Joining Miss Universe Philippines For 3rd Time

PAULINE AMELINCKX – Pageant veteran Pauline Amelinckx revealed why she joined Miss Universe Philippines for the third time.

Pauline Amelinckx is a Belgian-Filipino model, host, and beauty queen from Bohol, Philippines. She graduated from Cebu Doctors’ University in Mandaue City in 2017 with a degree in international studies.

The Boholana beauty began her quest for a pageantry crown in the first pandemic edition of Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) in 2020, representing her home province of Bohol. While she had emerged as one of the top candidates for the crown, she had to settle for runner-up honors when Ilongga Rabiya Mateo won the coveted title that year and earned the opportunity to wear the Philippine sash in the Miss Universe pageant’s 69th edition.

Two years later, Pauline Amelinckx staged a brave comeback, still clutching her province’s title, raising popular anticipation for an eventual victory. She did ace the competition’s last and most significant question and answer round, with an answer that brightened the spirits of individuals who have faced body-shaming, but lady luck did not reward her with the crown everyone expected to land on her head.

She was named Miss Universe Philippines-Charity. Third place, in other words, and a member of this year’s court of honor for Filipina-Italian Celeste Cortesi. Pauline has just one more year before she reaches the age limit set by international pageantry standards.

Pauline-Amelinckx-Dyan-Castillejo

Pauline Amelinckx is going to have another go at the Miss Universe Philippines competition. This is her third time joining the beauty pageant.

During her interview with Kapamilya anchor Dyan Castillejo, the pageant veteran shared the reason why she decided to join the national pageant for the third time.

“The first thing that really crossed my mind was that for sure I will regret it if I don’t try at last time coz this is my final round…”

“I feel like there’s so much more growth that can undergo… there’s so much more I can do and if I’ll be given the chance to represent the Philippines it would just be an ambition turned into reality. So I told myself if I’m already feeling this way and there’s so many people who support me. What the hell am I waiting for?” she said.
