PAULINE AMELINCKX – Beauty queen Pauline Amelinckx is joining the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant and this is her third time.
Pageant veteran Pauline Amelinckx gets her third time joining the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. She is among the figures pageant enthusiasts have been waiting for to join the pageant as they see potential in her in ruling the universe.
Will her third time be a charm? Will she be the one to finally bring back the crown to the country for the fifth time?
The Philippines holds Miss Universe winners: Gloria Diaz (1969), Margarita Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), and Catriona Gray (2018).
When the application for the 4th edition of the national pageant opened, many already hoped for her participation. And she did and this is going to be the third time that she will be joining the pageant.
Her first time was at Miss Universe Philippines 2020 where she was declared third runner-up to Rabiya Mateo. The second time was at Miss Universe Philippines 2022 where she won Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022 crown.
She has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and majored in European Studies at the Cebu Doctors’ University in Mandaue City. Her advocacy is to use art and create a children’s coloring book to raise environmental protection awareness in kids.
She was Miss Bohol 2017, Miss JCI Philippines 2017, and Miss Global Beauty Queen Philippines 2018.
Apart from her, Michelle Dee has also confirmed that she is joining this year’s national pageant. The two of them are among the strong contenders for the pageant’s 4th edition.
