MJ Lastimosa’s Reaction To Miss Taguig’s 8-Year Relationship Goes Viral

MISS TAGUIG – Beauty pageant titleholder MJ Lastimosa reacted after Miss Taguig Ma. Katrina Llegado proudly shared her eight-year relationship during the pageant.

In the Philippines, the obsession with beauty pageants is deeply rooted in tradition. Many young girls are urged by their parents or friends to join beauty pageants because of the fame that comes with winning.

The coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) was held last night at the Mall of Asia Arena. It is arguably the most star-studded coronation night the country ever had.

Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu helped in choosing the new MUPH as one of the judges of the coronation night. She was also part of the selection committee in the preliminary competition and closed-door interview round.

The delegate from Pasay, Celeste Cortesi bested 31 other aspirants to inherit the crown from Cebuana beauty queen Bea Gomez. Four other women were crowned alongside Cortesi. The winners of other titles are:

Miss Taguig made waves online after she proudly mention her 8-year relationship during the pageant. She talked about her hiking obsession and that she’s always accompanied by her boyfriend.

Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa couldn’t help but Tweet about it. The online community empathized with MJ’s Tweet which jokingly insinuated that Katrina is mocking the single audience after she proudly shared her 8-year relationship during the pageant.

“Parang nang-aano si Miss Taguig sa 8 years boyfriend haaaaa. geh mare kawna,” MJ said.

“Umakyat din naman ako ng mountains mamsh Pero…” she continued.
