Melai Cantiveros to Hunt, File Case vs Basher Who Called Her Daughter Pangit
TV host-comedian Melai Cantiveros will hunt and file a case against a basher who allegedly called her daughter “pangit”.
Melai Cantiveros has issued a warning to a fan of young actress Francie Diaz for criticizing the comedienne-daughter. host’s Melai and her husband, Jason Francisco, have two daughters.
Melai tweeted a screenshot of a comment he exchanged with a netizen with the handle @stan.francine.chin on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Melai threatened the fan, she will discover and sue it for calling her kid “ugly”.
The fan said to Melai: “Epal mo din e ano. Wag mo i ship si Kyle kay chie anak mo nga ang pangit.”
“Kyle” is Kyle Echarri, and “Chie” is Chie Filomeno, according to the fan. Kyle and Chie became fast friends in the PBB House. Kyle and Francine became Francine’s love team.
Kyle appeared on Magandang Buhay on February 2, 2022, and Melai may have lured Kyle with Chie. Melai bravely confronted the basher’s mistreatment of her daughter.
Melai said: “Humanda ka @stan.francine.chin papahanap ko sa nbi ang account mu mahahanap kita at dedemanda kita sa sinabi mu sa anak ko. Ako sabihan mu ok lang wag ang anak ko, kahit itlog ka kahit magdeactivate ka , alam ko fans ka ni francine @francinesdiaz mahahanap kita”
Based on the article on PEP, Melai provided an update a few hours later. She shared screenshots of Francine’s fan pleading with her. It clarified everything for her. Melai is said to have told the fan to apologize to her.
Melai’s message to the fan, “wag mu uulitin kahit hindi artista. At wag anak [ko] Kasi babalika[n] ka.” The fan apologized and Melai forgave it. The comedienne-host warned the fan to stop bashing.
Melai included the messages they exchanged with the netizen in her caption. The fan even denied making the remark, but Melai believes it was a slip of the tongue. Melai eventually accepted the basher’s apology.
Melai’s warning “hayan maging lesson yan na wag basta magpadala sa feelings tapos pipindut nalang na di inaalam kng may mahuhurt kaba na damdamin.”
“Matuto tayu Rumespeto ng tao , Respeto is the key para sa matiwasay na buhay, kng di mu gustu ang sinasabi ng ibang tao Irespeto mu, and lets mind our own business at last magpatawad at magmahalan,” she added.
