Many viewers were touched when a Tawag Ng Tanghalan contestant proposed to his girlfriend.
TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – On live television, a couple gets engaged, and here’s the full video of this romantic moment.
Figuring out how to propose is a major undertaking. We all want a smooth and romantic proposal but really, it’s not all about the preparation, it’s about your readiness to finally take your relationship to another level. And Tawag Ng Tanghalan contestant Ralph Angelo Merced has seemingly found the best venue to pop the question to his almost 17 months girlfriend.
After his performance in the competition during the interview, host Vice Ganda ran the conversation with him smoothly. He established a romantic vibe first by calling his girlfriend to be on stage with him.
Vice asked him to say the words he intends to say to her still leaving the girl clueless about what is bound to happen.
With pure intentions, the proud contestant expressed that he will choose her every day and went on to say that it was the perfect chance to finally ask for her hand in marriage.
In front of the hosts and the madlang people, he went down and asked her “the question”. There was a moment of swift nervousness but he gained a “yes”.
The Showtime hosts were among the first people to congratulate them.
